Forsberg's also one of the top g/gp guys in the league right now.

And despite those two, a resurgent Duchene, having struck gold by finding Jeannot as well as the team being comfortably in a playoff spot with pretty good goaltending they didn't add anything at the deadline and were considering cashing in on Forsberg because he's a UFA after the season. Considering they've made their first round pick all but one year since 2016 you think they'd try a little while they have these guys.

I don’t understand the logic of stunting personal growth so the CHL’s fee fees aren’t hurt. Allow 19 year olds to play where their ability allows them and force the CHL to pay their players a living wage.

so stupid that Europeans 19 year-olds can play in the AHL, but the CHL has a slave-labour contract that is apparently etched in stone.
I mean i understand why THEY would want it to remain in place, but in a wider perspective it seems really off.

also, CHL's education bursary needs to be re-vamped as well, because that is also utter horseshit.

only if you take the courses directly out of junior (presumably??).
if you try to advance your career by playing pro in a minor league anywhere, the education funding dries up in a hurry.
