I was working up in Whistler where the Canucks held training camp. We're all in this club one night and in comes Messier and Brashear. We'll this hot chick at our table walks over to say hi to Messier who was standing over in a corner; he wouldn't even look at her, let alone acknowledge her saying hi and that she was glad he was now on the team. It reminded me of that scene in Deliverance when the guitar player goes to shake the inbred hillbillies hand.
