Nevermind that the defender didn't have the ball when the referee was clearly running towards the line of scrimmage blowing his whistle with his hand planted firmly in the air.

That might have been a fumble still.

I couldn't really tell from the angles they showed. He looked like he lost it initially, but did he regain possession when the Vol blocks the angle just before his knee touched? i dunno...

Settle down. The referee had already blown the play dead by the time the Tennessee player took the ball. If it had been ruled a fumble it would've stood that way as well.

The ref they brought into the announcer booth really, really wanted overturned. He kept saying the ball was loose when Perine had it wedged between his arm, and chest

Not impressed with the offensive play calling or play in that first half. And except for one let down on defense though I think the D is playing well overall.

Only thing I have been dissapointed in is that Knight has not kept the ball a couple of more times on the zone read. Could have had a couple of big outside runs, and kept the defense honest.
