He threw two. Completed one. I really think they're keeping the play book pretty tight as long as possible. I did notice they targeted bell a few times. That seemed to be working well.

I thought OU lost interest in the 3rd quarter after they scored on the first possession. Not the killer mentality you want to see.

Defense played well except for a couple of plays.

Offense has got to play the whole game, not just pick and chose.

Still, it is a victory. I expect next year in Knoxville will be a lot closer.

I feel like the defense finally played a complete game. No complaints about the D. I feel like Heupel pretty much shut the play book after the early score in the third, and especially after the pick 6.

In looking down the road, don't know if I'm more worried about playing in Morgantown or Lubbock now. I think we take both, but WV is looking better than I expected and TT didn't look great today. UT tried all night to give it to UCLA, and UCLA finally obliged them. Overall, some good wins today for the B12 and a couple not great losses.

Tennessee is gonna win some games in the SEC and not just against Vandy either. You heard it here first that defense and QB for Tennessee is gonna make it tough on some teams this year. They aren't gonna win the east but I bet they knock of someone in competition for it. Florida, Georgia, Mizzou, and South Carolina one of them falls to Tennessee this year maybe two. Impressed with all the "true freshman"!
