Durant
Westbrook
Ibaka

Durant and Westbrook are top 5 players with Ibaka a top 25 player. If not for the injuries OKC would already have 2 championships.

Nah.
As long as James is >>>Durant, his Big 3 will always be rated highest IMO.

I do see merit in saying Westbrook/Ibaka> Irving/Love, though.

James is better than Durant?!?

With that do you mean James hops from team to team to create a "big 3" in order to win championships rather than stick to one team in order to claim his legacy amongst the best players of all time?

I'm trying to figure out where OKC's two titles would've came from. Lord knows they wouldn't be able to beat the Heat in the Finals. Thunder fans could bring up all of the hypothetical situations that they want. But we've seen what OKC and Miami have looked like matched up in a 7-game series, and we saw Miami win in 5. And this was without Ray Allen.

Who cares about "Big 3's"

I've never understood why everyone gets so hard over them. The Spurs taught us a valuable lesson... team>"Big 3"

YES, James is a much overall better player then Durant.

I agree James is/has always only been concerned about nothing but himself, but that's his choice and a totally different discussion.

Durant will soon be facing the same options as James did as far as choosing where he was wants to play for the prime of his career.
I expect it to not be in Ok. City.

I'll take James over Durant right now... but 2-3 years from now is when I think Durant will get a couple rings and take over the league.

True, but what really made the team was their willingness to not demand top dollar so they could build a deep team.
Younger players who have not banked their mega millions already won't be so willing to do that.
The Spurs situation is/was pretty unique.

Adams could be one of the top centers in the NBA by the end of the season.

I tend to agree, but that's a different conversation.

You don't think Durant is eyeballing Wizards?

Think or hope?
These superstars will now all demand that their owners not balk at luxury tax.
Unless the mindset changes there, I say you can pretty much pencil him in as gone.

I think if Durant gets a ring before his contract expires then he stays... if not you can pretty much bank on him leaving.

OKC has the best big 3 + 1 with Adams.

Spurs "BIG" 3 > Thunder "BIG" 3

Westbrook and Durant dont even compliment each other, it's hard watching the Thunder attempt to play team basketball.
