Who gives a shit what teams the 76ers beat? NBA teams take games off all the time to rest their good players. The Sixers won in a few glorified exhibition games. They're an NBA team IN NAME ONLY.

YES. The Sixers win a series with KY.
YES. They probably win a vast majority of games in a series with KY.
But I haven't seen a single compelling point to make me think that UK stands no chance of winning whatsoever.

The game tonight against ND is all the proof we need. UK is great in college because they're bigger, deeper and they get the other team in foul trouble. Towns put up 20 tonight because the only big guy ND had got in foul trouble and basically had to stand there. You put the sixers out there tonight and they flat out embarrass UK. It wouldn't even be a contest.

I wasn't referring to you. I was referring to this Trolly guy who for some reason thinks this team would stand a chance against any NBA team. This is fucking delusional.

This team has absolutely no shot against the Philies. None. You could argue for the next 10 years, but you'd still be wrong.

Where the fuck did I say any NBA team? What the fuck dude?

I CLEARLY said, The 76ers, one very specific, very historically bad, could possibly drop a game. I listed the 76ers roster earlier and asked for someone to tell me who on there has significant NBA experience.... crickets. I asked who on there outside of Noel is clearly better than the UK players...crickets.

you want to say it's a foregone conclusion, without backing up your assertion, fine. but don't misquote me you cocksucker. Go fuck your mother.

Are people really arguing that they could beat an NBA team? They're really good and might beat a NBA bench (probably not) but a full roster would absolutely smoke them. They got great size but their backcourt would get demolished because the last guy on a NBA bench is an absolute freak who happens to be playing in a league that's loaded with freaks.

Your delusional. What's Kentucky going to do, press? A NBA team loaded with professionals from all over the world would crush it. NBA players don't miss open 12 footers. NBA shooters have no problem draining 24 foot 3's, and NBA teams have studs that dominated the level they came from on the bench. And on top of it they're all grown men who's lives are focused on basketball. Maybe Kentucky could get hot and keep it under 15. But if they were playing a NBA season they'd be lucky to win a single game.

Yeah, I think you posted that for me. I just didn't have time to reply... but really, anyone on that roster is better and more experienced than any kentucky player. But the real issue is that UKs guards just aren't very good. Anyone on the sixers is WAY faster, WAY more athletic and could shoot circles around UK's guards.

NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT GODDAMN MOTHERFUCKING NBA TEAMS. NONE OF THE GODDAMN SHIT YOU SAY APPLIES TO THE GODDAMN SEVENTY MOTHERFUCKING SIXERS.

THEY MISS OPEN 12 FOOTERS THE MISS 24" 3s. BECAUSE THEY SUCK ASS.

Have you watched any 76ers games? I've seen a few and they're a fucking embarrassment. assuming they are remotely close to being the same level as other NBA teams is fucking cray... a lot fucking crazier than saying UK could be competitive against them.

UK played 2 national teams (with pros) and a pro team at the beginning of the season. The won 5 of 6.

Any NBA team as in they couldn't beat any NBA team. If you weren't trolling just now and truly couldn't figure out what I meant, then there's no hope for you. I didn't misquote you, you're just too stupid to figure out what I meant.

You throw the Sixers against Kentucky and most of the guys are going to see the easiest match they've seen in a while. What do you think, the 4 or 5 guys on Kentucky that might pan out in the NBA are going to play all 40 or 48 or whatever terms you want to draw up? The NBA team could just press and run and smoke them. They'd get creamed.

Everyone in every position is MUCH better. Noel just put up 30 on the clippers the other night. I guarantee the clippers didn't have a center on the floor w/5 fouls who just had to stand there... and Towns is the only big on UK w/any sort of low post skill. Cauley-steins is a great guy to have, but he's not a scorer.. and he never will be.

I've said it before, will say it again, UK would have a 0.00% chance against a pro team. But to be 38-0 and in the Final Four, with the youngest team in the field, is still pretty impressive IMO

Yeah, it would almost certainly be the easiest matchup they've seen. that doesn't mean that it means the Sixers players are lightyears better. It just means they are by far the worst at nearly every position in the NBA.

If we flipped it around and called Karl Towns, and Stein, and the harrison kids, etc "the kentucky sixers" and had them play in the NBA for a season (which would give them approximately the same experience the actual sixers have) and had them play the real sixers, would that game not represent the easiest matchup most of those guys had seen in a while? Yes, of course it would because the sixers are fucking garbage, Does that mean that the kentucky sixers would then beat the real sixers? no of course not, which means your example is fucking bullshit.

and I don't want to take away from what UK has done this year. But it's just flat out nonsense to think that a college team in any sport would have a chance in hell of beating a professional team.

If they flipped them around everybody would be fired by mid season. Get over it. All a NBA team would have to do is press and wear them down and it would be over the second Kentucky went to its bench. This Kentucky roster probably has a couple of legit NBA starters and maybe 3 or 4 bench players, which makes them a loaded team. Any NBA team would cream them and it would be an embarrassment if it were within 15 points.

And you can say the same fucking thing about the sixers. nobody on that team except noel would start anywhere else in the league, and most would be in the d-league, or working at Foot Locker.

The point isn't that the UK team would get fired, (and I doubt it since the sixers seem to be eager to continue downgrading their team and stocking up on draft picks) the point is your example was pointless because it doesn't prove anything.
