The last rumor I read was Atlanta was ready to give us #6, a 2nd and 3rd in 2014 AND a #1 next year to move up.... I am all for that.

I also think we will trade down from #13. Dallas wants a CB badly. I can see them sending us a 3rd to move up to #13 and we can still get Dix or Pryor at #17.

I would be all over that.....and with the #6 pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the St Louis Rams select????????

Yup, most of the guys who are UFA right now DE wise are at the higher end of the spectrum... take them out, the average salary goes down. Thats all... no big deal.

As much as I like Evans, I think WR is something we can look at in the 3-5 rounds if they decide not to draft Watkins (which they shouldn't). I really like Watkins teammate Martavis Bryant in say round 4. Look him up.

I think we end up with 2 firsts, 2 2nds and 2 3rds... and I think the first six picks (in order) will be OT,S,OG,OLB,WR,CB

Difference is..............Our WR's leave a lot to be desired and our DE's (even our backups) are some of the best in the League.

There is no way Atlanta gives up that much.

If they offer #6 and next years first, don't get greedy and just take the deal.

I just don't see them giving up the 2nd and 3rd as well. It's not like all they are missing is a DE. And they aren't moving up that much like they were to get Jones, so that many picks is overkill.

I agree with you ALR, but I think that Atlanta deal will be deal #2 of 3 for us in the first round. I think we will get #4, a 2nd, a 3rd and a 1st next year from Cleveland (they have 2) so they can move up to #2, especially if Manziel does not go to Houston.
Then we flip flop with Atlanta and get a 3rd this year and a 1st next year.. fair deal and not too much IMO.
Then I also think since there is a pretty good chance we will not be looking at WR in round 1 that we could trade down with Dallas and get an extra 2nd so they can move up to #13 to take either the top CB or Mike Evans.

That would give us #6, #17, 3 seconds, 3 thirds (where I think we get a QB and WR) and 2 firsts next season.
