That's not quite fair because right in the bleacher report rankings they say, "we'll attempt to project what this year's poll will look like. Using Steele's criteria as a guideline, here's our take on what the AP voters will say in a few months."

Consensus means that everyone agrees, which based on rankings #3-#17 kind of shows that's not the case. Major outlets don't know what to think of USC and Steel just ranks them higher due to # of returning starters.

Averaging all the polls they are a top 10 team. This FACT can't be disputed.

I didn't abandon the topic. USC is not a consensus top 10 team. And they have little shot of actually winning a national title this year, let along their own conference title. Sarkisian, like Hoke, is incapable of producing a team capable of winning a NC.

The talent level SC has is vastly above the talent level at Michigan. And loading up fast look into this years recruiting class. Hole is not our coach and Sark has done fine so far. So how is it you claim Michigan has a shot at a natty when they're in need of major rebuilding and a world behind the rest of the BIG. Yet don't want to see how close SC already is?

Harbaugh has won two league championships in college, and won two division championships in the NFL.
