Can I just go back to the Hawks opening goal for a second?!? If that's a Flames player bringing down Duncan Keith, I'm 99% sure a penalty is called. As for Justice pix, not really because the scoreline should read 2-0 Wings.

Also, no penalty on Keith for knocking Salei's stick into the stands?!?

I hate to say it...but who do you think the league wants in the playoffs? But in all seriousness, it's "better" for the league to get the defending champs from a huge, bandwagon-esque, still buying lots of merchandise, market instead of Dallas.
