Ohio State open -44 against Maryland. Do they cover?

Michigan just pounded Maryland physically in that game. We've had the week off and I'm sure are rested and ready to play. I think we hang 60+. Ohio State has covered every game this season except their home opener against FAU.

I’d take Maryland and the 44 all day. That is a number you give against Rutgers.

Maryland actually has two good RB’s. They can’t pass protect to save their life though. Chase Young would have 10 sacks if they tried to throw the ball 30 times.

I think OSU pummels them, but when you empty the bench — anything can happen. If starters played the whole game — OSU covers easily. I think OSU’s starters are sitting just after halftime.

Don’t get me wrong — Maryland isn’t good. But they moved the ball a few times on UM running the ball, but shot themselves in the foot. (Interception and a missed FG)

The backup RB for them averages 7 YPC and he returned a kickoff 97 yards for a TD against UM for the points they scored on us.

That being said — OSU will score at will. It will come down to how they handle the running game of Maryland. If they put Maryland into passing downs — I wouldn’t be surprised if Young has 4 or 5 more sacks. UM’s DE’s absolutely abused their tackles and Chase Young is on a level of his own.

yeah, those RBs are capable of hanging a few TDs though I wouldn't expect a repeat of last year's game. OSU's defense is wayyyyy improved from last year.
