That's where I'm at. How in the hell do you continue to go on about your day to day activities when you know absolutely nothing was done about what you saw. Maybe he thought by telling his boss something would get done but, it looks like when it was obvious nothing is getting done, that you'd take it to the proper authorities (which should've been done initially imo) and see that shit actually gets taken care of. This "Welp, I did my duty by telling muh boss" shit doesn't fly when it pertains to something so serious. Especially when said boss doesn't do anything.

Whole thing feels like an endless, "but I don't want them to fire me from an unpaid coaching position" to me.

Which pisses me right the fuck off.

What would be his motivation for making up a story this specific about one specific person under penalty of law?

"Greg had come into his office white as a ghost and said he just saw Jerry doing something to a boy in the shower."

The fact is, there's no reason to believe this pretty specific story is false.

Why would he wait so long to mention this part when the story broke 5 years ago, a part that both parties have vehemently denied? Wouldn't it seem like this would have been an EXTREMELY important part of his case??

The fact is, there's no evidence whatsoever to believe this story is true.

And if it were every proven that he lied, he would have been sent to jail. A sword deposition is more trustworthy because someone would be willing to take jail time if it were proven otherwise. I wonder why Schiano isn't filing a defamation lawsuit -- you know -- if someone falsely accused him over covering up a raped child.

This is too simple:

1) Bradley testified he had NO KNOWLEDGE of any child abuse by Sandusky.
2) McQueary testified that Bradley told him that Schiano had seen Sandusky abuse a child.

The entire PSU scandal is a he said/she said ordeal. The biggest problem is -- grown assume adults put football, winning and keeping their job over integrity and doing the right thing.

The whole grand jury testifying by any and all of those involved. I'd wager every single person being accused of seeing, hearing about, or knowing about Sandusky lied through their teeth to minimize their involvement and point fingers elsewhere. It happened so long ago, it is impossible to figure out truth from lies. Paterno got exactly what he deserved -- he is piss poor excuse for a human being ( great coaching career), but none the less, he shouldn't be praised because he turned a blind eye and allowed it to happen right in his presence.

College football is shady across the board, it is why I laugh and fanatics of teams talking as if their coach does no wrong. Reality is -- they all are shady bastards. They are getting paid millions to COACH A GAME. Keep winning and the more u get paid. They are going to do anything within their power to continue winning. Bend rules, throw others under the bus, give a scholarship to a criminal, don't punish a starter, etc etc etc. And fans, myself included, couldn't care less because all we want to see is wins.

For as much as you get negged around here, you're alright.

It is silly this is being dredged up again. No one has clean hands in college football. PSU alum should be ashamed of filing the motion to get the statue back. If I were a PSU fan, I'd be praying they don't bring it back because it will only carry on the black eye for the University. You will have groups protesting it and it will continually keep the topic in the news.

I think it's funny that you are commenting without even knowing the story.

Allegedly, Schiano sees Sandusky abusing a child and tells Bradley, who is the PSU DC and his boss at the time.
Then, allegedly, for some odd reason Bradley tells an offensive graduate assistant (McQueary) what Schiano saw.

McQueary's deposition testimony recounts the story.
