Exactly big game like that go with the Goalie who has been solid to you all year. Major let down last night...I'm going to hope moose gets the start Friday and can salavage something from this week.

Yea. You know what? I know fans on here are probably pissed at our comments. Trust me, when I hear Ranger fans at my office bash Marty, I am his number one fan and stick up for him. But on here, we are all Devil fans and we got to call it as we see it.
I was surprised they started Marty last night. Against Montreal, yea, no brainer, start him. But DeBoer has to have seen Marty's record against the rangers in recent years.

Marty played well, not sure what game you guys were watching. Kovy turnover led to the shorty, Henrik stood on his head, and our D was playing sloppy the entire game. Guys were pinching at the wrong times, passing to nobody in our own end, and not clearing the front of the net.

It wasn't completely Kovy's fault. His teammate tried to keep the puck in the zone and only made it worse by deflecting it past Kovy.

Your saying marty can't make that save? He wasnt facing Gaborik or Richards. He had to know where that shot was going. He has to make that save. Big game big spot team needs him to bail them out and he comes up lame. Sorry but he has to make that save.

No he cant save everything but just seems like the ones he should stop he isnt. They happen to be at the worst time. Do you think that 3rd goal was a tough shot to stop?
