That Rollins/Owens match= Raw's match of the year

That was the best main roster match of the year IMO. I also thought the Elias/Trish segment was fantastic.

Was looking like a Pretty good episode tonight IMO......until the Braun heel turn ruined it.

WWE has been looking forever to create a top babyface that's universally liked

WWE appears to finally have pulled that off with Braun Strowman.

WWE turns Braun Strowman heel.

They got one in Rollins. Everyone can see he should be the guy but WWE loves to sacrifice everyone elses character to get Roman cheered. Its why Smackdown is the much better show, because the writers are interested in putting on a good wrestling show with Smackdown while RAW writers are just worried about whats Roman doing and how to get him cheered.

Well, back to the drawing board cause turning Braun heel failed to get anybody to cheer Roman last night.

The poorly done heel turn. They had a chance to make it an epic heel turn if only Braun had cashed in on Roman and took the title after turning heel and joining forces with Dalph and Drew and destroying the shield instead of just beating them down. It may just be me but shouldn't your revenge for being power bombed thru the announce table involve putting the guys who put you thru the table, thru a table(s)?

And then either taking the one thing two of the perpetrators covet most or costing them it (their titles). I know the crowd may have cheered Reigns losing his title but you could still get nuclear heat on Braun if done right. I agree with the earlier posters, protecting Reigns at all costs has to stop. It's no longer what's best for business, if it ever was in the first place!

I wouldn't say he's helping Braun so much so as he's with that big group of heels going after Rollins and Ambrose(who KO has had issues with both of them so that makes sense).

Because they are with Braun in a 3 person team going against the Shield who is also a 3 person team. So you have Braun going after Roman for the Universal title, Rollins(with the IC title that he took from Dolph) and Ambrose as a team who are feuding with Drew and Dolph(who are now Tag team champions). Everyone is going after gold and each team has 2 people as champions as of now in this 3 vs 3 feud.

But how is anyone in the world going to get heat on Braun if he keeps facing Reigns? That whole turn was done so poorly and didn't make sense.

They're trying to stack the odds against the Shield (and make them 'underdogs') to hopefully build support for Roman. I get that, but imo it's absurd that they're doing this at the expense of ruining Braun's momentum as a face.

I totally get the premise, but it still really dumb. Even with the Shield when Roman is fighting Braun one on one the fans will still boo him. I have no problem with them turning Braun, just to me it makes little sense when you turn a guy to have him face a guy they will still cheer for him. Against Ambrose or Seth sure, I just don't get the logic behind throwing darts trying to find away for people to cheer for him on the camera.

Man that Raw was bad. They are on a string of stinkers. Only thing that's interesting (mildly) is I see they are slowing working some Cruiserweights into the show with Drake Maverick with AOP, Drew Gulak being around and apparently Lio Rush is gonna be the small dog mouth piece to Bobby Lashley's big dog muscle.
