I don't recall WWE ever mentioning Wellness suspensions on tv, the talent usually just disappears off tv until the suspension is over.

Yes but no one has ever been suspended after they were put in a main event for a PPV before. So, everyone wants to know if Roman is still in the main event or not. IMO WWE couldn't change the main event of Battleground without saying why. Of course they could have made up a storyline excuse to get Roman out of the main event but that didn't happen either.

I thought last night was a good show. Rollins/Cena and AJ/Ambrose were both about as good as you'll see from WWE on free TV. The opening segment was strong.. Rollins in particular was really good in it.
The Wyatt/New Day feud has a ton of potential. The Zayn/Owens segment was great..
With all that said the show seemed flat because there was no crowd reaction the entire show.

Yeah, that crowd was mostly dead. The biggest sign of that was booing Cena half heartedly.

They threw in the towel last night. People were predicting record breaking lows because of the holiday and poor ratings in June.

On a positive note, AJ and the club killed it on their promo. I'm shocked how much his mic work has improved since TNA. The Wyatt/New Day angle has been great. Some decent matches but nothing else really stood out.

I wonder if Bischoff or Heyman show up in the SD GM segment next week

It was a holiday Raw where they know not many are going to watch. No need to waste any major storyline developments/surprises or great matches on an episode like that.

I think they are a little lost with this split. Shane is the commissioner of smackdown, vince wants competition, and shane is supposed to be upset that he no longer has anything to do with raw? Kinda looked like if HHH does not come back to RAW, that stephanies yes chant might have DB as GM and I was thinking Foley for smackdown.
