Jason is still under contract with the Kings.

I think he's set to make a shade under 6 mil next year.

with comments he made im sure he will get brought in and talked to...but his trade value just isn't high.....what do you give up for him? 2nd round pick?

I wouldn't give up anything.

Let him hang himself in Cowtown.

Either they will cut him loose or force him to sit at home for the Season.

If I'm not mistaken, that's exactly what they did when they traded for him.

Yeah, that's what HE WANTS.

But, as of now, the Kings are not inclined.

That has to change after this interview, right?

They way he gushed about being a Mav, they can't risk bringing him into that locker room.

Kings source says there have been no change in plans regarding Jason Terry. No plans to buy him out.

The LAKERS have at least 6-7 million for Boozer.

I think that is the bottom line margin....so any team wanting him is going to have to do a little better.

You mean the Lakers actually have the ability to pick up Lin and Boozer in the same summer?

Boozer is a solid pickup for 7 million. It is an expiring contract and Chicago pays the other 10 million.

He might not be worth 17 million, but who cares if Chicago is paying the bill.

I suppose. They have to put a roster on the floor, but he might help them get a handful of wins that they'll regret at the end of the year when they're handing out lotto balls.

I would LOVE to see Terry back with the Mavs off the bench. He never really wanted to leave but Cuban wasn't about to overpay him - or Chandler - or Barea.

I can't imagine if Cuban is interested where they can't work something out. He knows the system Dallas runs, he knows what his role will be, and he already lives in the city.

I think they will have a much better roster than people think.

KOBE was 1st team all NBA his last full season. He claims to be 100% healthy.
I think he will be a very good player in 2014-15.

PG - Lin/Nash
SG Kobe
SF - Swaggy P
PF - Boozer
PF - Hill/Randle

That is not a bad little team. It is no worse than the Phoenix or Dallas roster from last season that each threatened 50 wins.

I don't know if Boozer ends up there...but the Lakers seem to be going for him.
That roster could compete easily for a top 3 seed in the East and a 6-8 seed in the West.

I'll file that in the awful ambitious everything goes 100% right file.

That roster is just a hair over AWFUL

Lin is a turnover machine. Nash probably doesn't see the court and both are HUGE defensive liabilities that can't guard the perimeter - it's an open gate to layups by opposing guards, and the West is FULL of quality PGs.

Kobe has to hit the bench sometime. We're also assuming he's going to play at GOD level and I don't buy that either. Age beats EVERY man.

Swaggy P never met a shot he didn't like. If he was routinely making them, I'd take him seriously.

Boozer would be a quality signing.

Hill is OK. Randle is unproven and I suspect he's already hit his ceiling.

I don't see 50 wins here......MAYBE 30-35.

Are you serious? You really want him back? I say why not, but my goodness he was awful on defense. Thoughts on how Heat round out the roster? 3 spots left assuming they sign Hamilton.

I'd rather save the spot for Hamilton. You can't teach 7'0, and the Heat need depth on the inside. Beasley was on a veteran littered roster and apparently he still didn't learn anything. I'm completely OK with the Heat not bringing him back. Build up Ennis, Napier and Hamilton.

Here's the problem in Miami......I keep hearing how bad Beasley was on defense, yet I saw Allen and Lewis rack up minutes, and NEITHER of them could guard my grandmother.

Beasley isn't the problem.....SPOELSTRA is. If Beasley isn't cutting it on D, THIS IS WHY YOU ARE PAID TO COACH.

Coach him up! That's Spo's JOB......you don't leave a good 15 points per on the bench all year when you need bench points! Put his ass to work and teach him what you want him to do. I GUARANTEE you if he was playing in San Antonio or Dallas he'd be locking dudes down on defense.

Yes, he's the same Turd-Bird:doh:.

I give him credit for playing a nice roll on the Mavs Championship Team and he had some decent years in Atlanta.

But, he can't possibly believe he is in the same category as the guys he mentioned:omg:.

Agreed. The other guys he mentioned are first-ballot hall of famers. I will always remember Terry for this though.
