Houston is actually doing it right. They knew that they did not have enough to win a title, so they gambled that they could get a star who could take them over the top. The didn't get there, but at least they are trying instead of being content with a 5 seed.

He actually isn't a FA until 2017 but I still think he will test the market unless the Warriors make a few conference finals/nba finals in the next 3 years.

If they continue to get eliminated in the first 2 rounds, he will consider playing elsewhere
