Both are coming in the first week of August. I heard Ronny was waiting to be cleared. Apparently he is cleared but his paperwork was not returned in time or something like that. I am not sure why R.L. is coming in August...

Luther Maddy and Kris Harley are giant. I assume they are in game shape which makes them very impressive.

Nicolas may end up without his hand in the dirt.

I am pretty shocked at the 290 posted by Harley. If that's all good muscle-weight, he may contribute sooner than we thought. I don't know enough about Maddy at this point, but if that's all muscle, we're good!

I like where Holmes is at, too...could put on another 10-15 pounds and be that power back we're looking for.

I thought Dadi Nicholas (Wedley Estime) would come in a lot heavier if he's going to play DE...but Friday came in weighing even less when he first reported years ago. But, like you say, if he has the lateral movement and quickness, he may end up at LB.

I like Redman's incoming height and weight...should be able to put on another 20 pounds of muscle and be a very good TE for us.

At 260, Goins is probably about 2-3 years away from contributing. About right for what Newsome is setting up with the offensive line.

I saw Jarrett up here. He came out to watch the Orange Bowl at the restaraunt that the alumni go to up here. He is a big kid and will be a missile at CB. he is that physical corner that Gray loves so much. I figured he would come in thick, and I like it.

Eddie Royal just got some big props on ESPN sports nation, they ranked him as having the #5 set of hands in the NFL. Amazing stat: of all the the catchable balls thrown his way he only dropped 1 of 60. FYI the guys in front of him all had more drops,(4) Boldin 2 drops,(3) Calvin Johnson 5 drops, (2)Andre Johnson 4 drops, (1)Fitzgerald 4 drops.

So apparently the first segment is just about deciding the sparq national championship (between 10 recruits) I assume it will show the rest of the camp either late in the first episode or in the following two episodes.

Just finished watching my DVD of the 1998 Music City Bowl against Alabama. Man, what an arse-whipping. Defense and special teams were lights out that day. Man, how I miss Corey Moore and Engleberger, Ike Charlton, Anthony Midget, and so on. LOL.

Found this tidbit I didn't know. An NCAA basketball team can play an exhibition outside of the US during the offseason under NCAA rules. The Hokies are taking a trip to Canada in August to play two exhibitions with the University of Windsor.
