I'm mostly excited for the beer. If the food is good, that's just a bonus. I hope they have specials like Rivermill's Pint Night with $1 dollar domestics, $2 imports. I loved showing up there with a 10 and feeling/drinking like a king.

They had one here for about 6 months and then it closed. I was too young to drink at restaurants at the time so idk about the beer. Food was good but was too expensive and took like an hour to get our pizza.

Nope. Shit never got any business. The first time I went there they had to give the whole "have you ever been to a Mellow Mushroom before?" you say no and she says "well our standards here at Mellow Mushroom are much different then most pizza restaurants. Our prices are higher and the waiting times are higher, but our product is much better. She wasn't' lying on either but the product was no night and day different and not worth the price or wait. It was good, but not worth it.

Yea, mini-van. I actually love it. My wife's car (truckish thing) died. It was a Hokie Orange 2003 Xterra that we affectionately called "The Gobbler". Died is not really true, but it needed a new catalytic converter and wouldn't pass emissions without it... that and the transmission was starting to slip. Add those two issues along with a Kelley Blue Book value of about $1K and it was dead car rolling for a couple of months before we decided to get serious about replacing it.
Did a ton of desk research, found the 2009 and 2010 Toyota Sienna were the most reliable and highest ranked among owners. Now we own a 2010 XLE with less than 22K miles (took me a month to find one in NOVA with less than 40K-50K).
It's white so we're kicking around nicknames like "Away Team", "El Diablo Blanco" and "Moby D". I want to get a vanity plate that just says "MOBYD" but the wife has said no.

So I'm beginning to think GT and UNC won't be as tough as initially thought. In 2 games, both teams struggled for awhile with what should be far weaker teams. Can't overlook them but I'm feeling like the Coastal might be between us and Pitt (and maybe Duke).

Pitt looked really good the other night. Very physical team but also as you insinuate we can't overlook Duke now either.

And I hate to say it, but UVA has looked fairly good well. Their D looked good against UCLA (though it may be just that UCLA is REALLY overrated) and once they replaced QB's in that game, their offense looked respectable. They also looked pretty decent against UR. I know it's really early in the season, but they could a team to look out for.

It's always hard to take too much away from the first game of the season. Kinda like the bowls, one team is often more prepared than the other for various reasons. Throw UCLA traveling across the country into the mix, and the fact that they do look overrated... Not going to get too worked up over UVA. They may (or may not) be better than expected, but I don't think they'll challenge for the coastal or anything. Expect 2 more losses in the next 2 weeks.
