I wouldn't be too thrilled about ASU being the team we play. I don't think it benefits either team really.

You never know how good a team will be several years down the road. Bama lost to Louisiana-Monroe just 6 years ago and now are a dynasty. If ASU keeps winning 8-9 games every year, the media will start to notice and hype them up. At least some will. I think the computers love the Pac 12 too.

Wouldn't this be like 3-4 years down the road? I expect ASU to be better than Wisky by then. Todd Graham might be an a-hole but he's coaching well. Led ASU to an 8-5 record his first year with the #14 offense in the nation. How good will Wisky be without Bielema?

You sure have a lot of faith in Graham. A lot more than I do. Regardless you don't schedule home and homes with someone that far away unless you know they'll be good or they have the tradition that makes fans want to travel whether they are or not.

Yeah and they decided not to hit last night. Boogers.

Even if ASU is a pretty good team it still doesn't benefit anyone. We aren't going to be recruiting out there and they really don't recruit out here. Playing an eastern half team is more beneficial IMO for exposure. We aren't going to storm into the west coast for recruiting because of 1 series.

Fair enough. I guess I'm just always intrigued when two random teams who have never faced each other play. Not gonna lie, I watched both ASU/Mizzou games in 2011 and 2012 and enjoyed them. Looking forward to when ASU plays Wisconsin and Notre Dame this year.

No rumors. I'm just thinking out loud. While we were reading that Wisconsin was bouncing us again, Arizona State and LSU quietly agreed to move their 2015-16 series. Essentially, Arizona State is in the exact same situation as Virginia Tech, so ESPN would have little work to make that switch. It may be the simplest result for the little information that is known.

Wish we would play someone like Texas, or ole miss.

Recruiting wise, would be good to play penn state. But if we lose to the sanduskys, that wont look good for us. Because that will show major regression.

Ideally, dream game is still Tennessee at Bristol, but the above are cool.

Yup, I've been lurking some, just not posting. Part of the reason why is because I've moved back to Hokie territory and don't have to look at any more God-awful Tennessee stuff. Wytheville is a shorter drive to campus too
