I am a fan of football games being played outside personally
I loved watching the Denver-Baltimore game played outside in single digit temps. The fans will be there regardless. (We packed lane vs Miami in the cold rain and against BC in the even colder rain a few years back) Imagine a home game vs UVA during a big snow, how awesome would that be.
BoA Stadium getting about 200 million in upgrades, more than half paid by the city.
I read something once that the metrodome replacement cost *only* 18 million, and that Cleveland considered a Georgia Dome type roof for 60 million. Now the article says nothing about a roof but a coworker in Charlotte said they were thinking about it. Here's hoping the ACC-CG (for its own sake, I like the weather) is soon played under a roof.

I am sure Swofford has a hand in this....probably trying to appease the FSU fans and Miami fan who have complained about the Charlotte weather during past championship games. I guess more locals would probably attend if the game were in-doors.
This. Boston College in 2007 was the worst for me.That has to be my #2. #1 is the Nebraska home game.
Looks like the sister of our new WR coach knows how to have a good time. Check out her twitter profile.
