Lost a vehicle today My explorer with over 500K on it finally bit the dust, I loved that thing, its almost like losing a member of our family. Was on 460 and felt a little miss 5 miles later im blowing white smoke like a choo-choo. Explorers are pretty much known to suck ass but mine had prob 150k off road miles and over half a mil all together, ran like a champ up til she bit the dust.

oh well on to the next one i guess...

plus i quit the skoal on NYE which i had dipped for about 6years after smoking for about 8, so my nerves bad. plus no alcohol in house.

but could always be worse as there are people out there without food or clean water so i aint complaining.

Had an Explorer for end of highschool through first couple years at Tech. Camping, river trips, tons of back roads (and some minor off road adventures), tailgating, keg transportation, driving down 81 in the snow, and some adult activities. Loved that thing, upgraded cars and sold it when needs changed, but I kinda wish I had it now that I'm in our house. The only thing I ever had problems with was those damn recalled Firestone tires. Almost shit myself driving a tad too fast on an old curvy road one day when the first one blew up. Sorry for your loss sir.
