While most of the good people on this sports-forum will be focused on the NCAA'S, I have managed to secure a thread for the other postseason tournaments going on: the NIT, the CIT, and the CBI. Why am I doing this, you ask? Well, SOMEBODY has to look at them! So it might as well be me. I'll be back tomorrow to go over the tournaments.

So that means more room for desperate mid-majors, then.
read an article last night that teams have to pay $75,000 to play the first game in the cbi or cit cant remember which one it was. mid majors arent selling that many tickets especially if they have to travel on the road for games. i guess they have to weigh the publicity vs the cost, but seems like a losing endeavor to me.

First, a update from the CIT: N.J.I.T got their first ever postseason win last night 84-77 against New Hampshire.

Then, an update. It's Temple that's playing Bucknell, not Arizona. That was a bad mistake by me; maybe I was thinking about how Bucknell once beat Arizona in the NIT years earlier.

I see that South Carolina also had the good taste to decline all tourney invites
