I hope you are right CD, because I haven't seen it.

There may be a run on OL and DL players through the 2nd round. I hope there is someone left for us before the talent level drops off too much.

There are less than 10 teams picking in front of us right now, and Marcus Martin, Kony Ealy, and Louis Nix III are all still available.

Cody Latimer*, WR, Indiana
Height: 6-2. Weight: 215.
Projected 40 Time: 4.58.
Projected Round (2014): 1-3.

5/6/14: Some believe Latimer could end up being a first-round pick. That opinion was given more credence when Latimer accepted the NFL's invitation to attend the 2014 NFL Draft. If he isn't selected on Thursday night, he could go early on Friday.

At his pro day, Latimer was said to have a great performance with a fast 40 and an impressive workout. He has been rising and has positive momentum heading down the home stretch.

Latimer decided to skip his senior season after producing a quality junior year for the Hoosiers. His most impressive game of 2013 was an eight-catch, 136-yard game against Missouri. However, he didn't stand out against Ohio State (5-60) or Wisconsin (5-42). Latimer finished 2013 with 72 receptions for 1,096 yards and nine touchdowns. As a sophomore, he had 51 receptions for 805 yards with six scores.

He is a good wide receiver. What did we give up to get him? I would have liked an offensive linemen, defensive linebacker, or another corner back.

I see we traded our 2nd round pick, pick #171, and a fourth round pick next year for the wide out and pick #242. The 49ers then traded the two picks they got from us for this years draft to the dolphins to get Carlos Hyde.

I'm not familiar with the value chart, but it sounds like we were on the losing end again. Hope someone can clear that up.

After checking the value chart on Walter football, it looks like it's pretty much right on the money. I'm glad we didn't get hosed.

This Latimer kid looks like he's got some really sure hands. He may end up being a bit of a steal.

He almost sounds like Decker. Soft hands, size, and no second gear. I am not sure about him but if he turns into Decker that would not be terrible.

I certainly wasn't expecting a WR, but I suppose the braintrust running the Broncos knows more about the team's needs than I do. I was expecting a MLB or O-lineman with this pick. There's still time.

Pick 3 coming up. OG David Yankey would work.

Michael Schofield, OT, Michigan. More help for the O-line. This is good.

Mel Kiper seems to think he is pretty good.

Wow, the Steelers just got Dri Archer, and they drafted LeVeon Bell last year. Talk about Thunder and Lightning. Wow.

The Steelers and Ravens seem to draft every player that I want the Broncos to get. Dammit.

Still need to address the defense at CB and MLB. Another RB wouldnt hurt as well.

For the people that are happy with Denvers offense just wondering did it result in a Super Bowl victory? No they need to improve as well but Id like to see the defense really improve. Face it Manning isnt getting any younger and all the records and stats dont mean shit if you dont have a defense and the offense doesnt show up in big moments.

From what I understand the cost for Mosley at 16 was 2 1st round picks, a 3rd round pick, and a 6th round pick. That is some major value considering last year San Fran just traded their 1st and 3rd round pick to move up almost to the same spot. There are still some great leaders in this draft and I still think our team has great leadership at every level. Ware on the DL should whip all those boys into shape. Trevathon from what I understand really stepped up as a leader and is actually now the guy who calls all the plays on the field and gets everybody lined up. In the Secondary really all of the guys have some leadership ability. This is why Elway loves getting guys with past experience as a Captain.

If that was even rumored, then HELL NO. Give me a break :omg:

Ok, I am getting a little sick of this to be honest. What MLB was available at any of our picks that was not a HUGE reach? In the first Mosley and Shazier were gone and the price to get them was way out of reach. Van Noy was not an option at #31 with what was left on the board, too many better players available and then he was grabbed probably earlier than expected in the 2nd and that was even if he was the target in the second once WR's started getting taken off the board. Oh and if you say Borland in the 3rd, I may scream at you. Repeat after me, Borland is too slow to play coverage LB in Nickel and is essentially no better than what we currently have on the roster. So why draft him? He is pretty much an ILB for a 3-4, that is it. Anyone else so far would be a HUGE reach. LB and especially those that can play MLB in a 4-3 and also be a coverage LB just is not deep in this class, but saying that, there are some coming up in rounds 4 and up that are not reaches and may see them grab someone off of the board. Guys like Tripp and Williamson. Jesus fuck I am so glad some of your are not the GM for the Broncos.

:L

He ran a 4.39 right after foot surgery.

Oh and Lattimer has size, great hands, and is the best blocking WR. Wonder why we targeted him, especially when there were sooooooooooooo many MLB prospects out there for the taking?
