Well the cavs went to 4 finals, and won a championship. Lets see what the lakers do...
Also Love is out

Sixers and Rockets have also lost to the Cavs. Lakers have also recently beat the Thunder and pushed the Rockets to OT before losing yet another starter (Ball) and that game. Sure it was a bad loss, but on any given night....
I was mostly laughing at the fact that a Cavs fan made fun of how shitty his team is to make fun of us lolSixers and Rockets have also lost to the Cavs. Lakers have also recently beat the Thunder and pushed the Rockets to OT before losing yet another starter (Ball) and that game. Maybe, but do stars want to play with Lebron. Durant's comments were not completely off base. I've heard a few guys who were supposedly headed to LA when their deals ended (Westbrook, Love and PG). None did.Point still remains that Lakers fans over value their players.
And I'm sure LA will land someone in FA. Guys want to play in LA, the Lakers are located there.
I agree, though I'd worry that Magic might be like the typical fan and would rather get the better "name" player than the player who might be a better fit.George decided he liked where he was. It's called free agency, and if "Playoff P" wants to stay in OKC, so be it. If they had emptied the roster of young players to get him, maybe Lebron doesn't come. It's not a failure unless they can't get a different 2nd star player to the team in the near future.
Some good points, but Lebron did not miss a game last season so hard to know how they played without him. We'd have to ask a couple of GMs to truly know if their trade value has fallen. Kuzma had that 40 point 3-quarter performance, and when you compare what these Lakers have done without LeBron to what the Cavs did without LeBron last season then it doesn't look that bad. Then you have guys like Richard Jefferson talking about how difficult it is to play without LeBron once you've gotten used to having him and the impact he has on the game.
In addition, as mentioned, we actually built a team to play around Lebron with shooters. Hard to win when he doesn't play.A lot of those games we were resting a combination of Irving and love with lebron. I wouldn't draw too many conclusions from that statistic.
Role players are easier to incorporate than 2nd and 3rd options
Their entire frontcourt and some of their backups are all out.Well the cavs went to 4 finals, and won a championship. Lets see what the lakers do...

Cavs FO and their fans took a lot of shit as a 50 win team, who everyone should have known didn't care about seeding.from 8 straight Finals to having to claw for a playoff spot..lol
3 games above .500
icant imagine the shit Cavs fans would be getting if they were 3 games above .500 and in the 9th slot with LeBron.
OK, but no one other than the Cavs has beaten GS the last 4 years in the playoffs.Getting to the finals in the East < getting to the finals in the West. How many championships has any team other than the Warriors won since Durant copped out?
Cavs are missing their entire front courtTheir entire frontcourt and some of their backups are all out.
Cavs are missing their entire front court
Love and Thompson starting and Nance Jr. as a backup- missing all for long stretches this season hurts.
When you look at those 3- for the PF and C position- there erally arent many better 3-somes in the East for the front court than those 3.
Some good points, but Lebron did not miss a game last season so hard to know how they played without him.
If you are talking the year before, a couple points. First, many of the games he missed Love and/or Kyrie also sat out. In addition, the Cavs actually worked to put the best type of players around Lebron. Guys who could shoot and spread the floor. They were built to mplay with him so stands to reason they would not play well without him.
The Lakers failed to find this type of player to play around Lebron, even though Magic tried to sell it as not doing what the cavs did, because, you know, only going to 4 Finals and winning one was a failure. The fanboys in the media ate it up because he is Magic.
How are they not getting crushed for letting Randle walk? And the guy signed a very modest deal. To save cap room to MAYBE get a guy who may or may not even be a better fit than Randle, who is exactly what they need?
