We gave up Brandon Marshall for a 5th round pick, and we took an inferior player at #7 overall. I get that this is a long-term rebuild, but that doesn't mean it is sitting well with me.

The only good thing about losing Williams is that maybe Wilkerson will be available for cheap. How about we make a deal with the Jets that is good for us?

But you're on the Bears board, trolling. That fact does little to support your opinion concerning envy. As for the upcoming season, Most of us are too busy watching the NHL and NBA playoffs. And with a big hole at Wr with Marshall gone, it makes sense to fill it. He may not be ready this year, but he will hopefully come along. Wr, rarely have a major impact right out of the shoot, especially when you have a great Wr opposite him and an old favorite target of the QB sitting in the slot.

It's a development pick. Which is good. If three years from now he is turning into an elite wr, believe me, no one will be whining.

If you guys think WR was one of the four biggest needs on this team, I just will say that I strongly disagree with you. Alshon plus Jaelen Strong would have been fine. I don't think any of our three defensive units could be called "fine."

This WR corp has potential to be really good. Speed in White, Size in Alshon, and vet/slot/catcher in Royal. Add Adam Gase, we might have something.
Pace was super excited when explaining the White pick. *not that he wouldn't be, but I liked his confidence.
