He tore right calf in camp last year and missed two games. With Davis out, Josey Jewell, Josh Watson, Justin Strnad would compete to replace him.

Davis injured the other calf Thursday, which was the sixth day of camp practice – but a month later than last year as the COVID-19 pandemic delayed the start of NFL training camps this year.

A similar recovery time would cause Davis to miss four to six games this year. The latest calf injury seemed more severe. Davis was able to hobble off the field last year; this time he couldn’t place any weight on his left leg as he was carted off.

Talked to a Broncos player today that said Courtland Sutton is unbelievable in camp. We really saw the star potential last year. I think this is the year where people really start to give him that type of buzz around the league. He is gonna cost us a lot in his next contract but better that then a bust.

Yep he is totally slaying camp. No double and triple teaming him with all our weapons. I have a feeling people will start saying he is one of the best in the NFL . The Colt WR that works for NFL.net was saying that last year that Sutton was special I guess that he coached him during the offseason last year.

The reason I have not touched much on Sutton is he is so dominant in news. glad some did I guess.

I been hitting on RT C TE and RB and some QB and MLB the most. there is were the Acton is for me this preseason .

and the hot WR that isn't Sutton because he is do it every day.

In the Sutton video Albert O made a great TD catch. This camp they are throwing the ball downfield more. So far everyone but Lindsey is catching the ball well. At least that's what I hear from Stink.

Jeudy looks like D Hopkins out there. #10 with the dreads.

Callahn is getting burned the last couple days with multiple 30+ yard Tds passes to Sutton and JJ.

At RT I want Rodger to win the battle I think he is going to be pretty good His play last season IMO was solid and No sacks or hurries that Ii seen and his Run Blocking was fine plenty power rather Smooth for how we got him.

There is 3 or 4 RT vying for starter . I think both our RFA from last year did great and have a very good chance starting at RT.

Schlottmann and Rodgers Imo are decent players that if they start we will be in a rather good place .

They are rotating a lot of players #1 for the no preseason but all the same I believe this head coach will put the best playing over maybe better later .
