He is at best a average back up right now, AT BEST, but Milroe's thing is his ceiling. It could be one of the highest out of all the guys drafted but I would put that on Dart myself But he has to learn how to play in that 1-19 yard range where 90% of all passes in the NFL happen. THATS where Milroe sucks lol.

Right now he is a talented RB that can throw a deep pass.
Sounds like we should start him this year then and get arch manning with the #1 pick next year

Not a fan of the Milroe pick considering there's still talent to grab. Players drafted in the first 3 rounds should be instant contributors come week 1 in which Milroe is not. My guess he starts the 2026 season if Darnold crumbles this season.

If Milroe ever starts, the #1 pick is in reach

Problem is it won't be. He's probably a .500 QB. He's had solid games than we see the Oklahoma and Michigan games. He needs to massively work on his short game and gotta get the ball out quicker.

Yea but Wilson’s only problem was he was short, he was way mare developed than Milroe. Milroe needs a year minimum of sitting and learning until anyone should even be thinking of him seeing the field.
True, but like all prospects some shine some fall flat, you just never know for sure until they’re out there at the next level… He’s an exciting prospect for sure, his athleticism is off the charts, just need to see how he goes through progressions …

Common man, you don’t know how he responds at the next level until you see it .. It’s impossible to fully predict …

True but his finally impressions in CFB were awful. Season on the line in Norman which should have been an easy W lose and again against Michigan team that's blah was awful. I will say there's a high ceiling on him but it's gonna take a full season and maybe 2 to get him fully prepared.

Agreed 100%. Wislon was 100% ready to be a NFL QB and going back for his final season was to prove to everyone he could do it. If Wilson was 6 foot 2+ he most likely is the 1st or 2nd QB taken. It would have been between him or Andrew Luck as who would go number one and not RGIII and Luck which wasnt really a comp, Luck was ALWAYS going before stickman. If Wilson was 6 foor 4 235 pounds though and he kept his mobility then that would have been interesting for sure.

you DO NOT spend a 3rd round pick on a gimmick QB thats biggest issue is throwing the ball in that 1-19 yard range ( WTF! ). 3rd rounders typically are starters. Give me Jared Wilson over Milroe EVERY SINGLE TIME. Then looking at the QB room, Darnold, Lock, Howell, Hall....... you know Darnold and Lock 100% should be your #1 and #2 so now what? PS for Milroe a THIRD ROUND PICK or maybe use him as a gimmick player oh yippee.

Sanders is having an epic slide but you know what? I would have been fine with Sanders over Milroe if they were 100% set on drafting a QB.

Yeah if he shows he’s not ready in camp and needs time absolutely let him learn from 2 vets that have more experience, never hurts to get coached up and learn for a year or 2 ..

Rounds 4-7 is all about adding depth and possible future stars. Hawks have 5 picks tomorrow ( Today now ) one 4th, two 5th and two 7th round picks to build on a team weakness and that was depth so lets hope they can score big to close out the 2025 NFL Draft. So far i am all in on our picks minus Milroe. He just doesn't help the team in 2025 and a 3rd round pick 100% SHOULD help your team.

I think if we can hit on WR and CB we have the makings of a really good draft

OK Info dump about whats going on with Shedeur Sanders

So this is the "News" based on a rumor. The NFL Owners and NFL reps got together about how the Sanders family was acting before the draft and about how they were turning it into a circus with their actions and said " Do not draft this kid before the 3rd day." This is the rumor based on some facts as they said but couldnt say any more because we could be hearing about a "Lawsuit" if they did. WOW! Thats some dirty BS right there.

Proving this would be nearly impossible but if it EVER got out and proof did leak the NFL would be in BIG Trouble .. but this 100% feels like something the NFL would do. " We are bigger than you" Mentality.

I believe its more likely that the teams don't want to deal with the circus that would follow with Shedeur Sanders.... his Dad. The kid isn't good enough to Have the baggage that comes with him. Now that is 100% unfair to Shedeur but when your Dad is Deion it 100% makes sense. More so to me than some rumor of some exclusion being promoted by the NFL ... hmm then again Colin Kaepernick might think differently.

I don't think you can put too much stock in that last Michigan game. Meaningless bowl games after they missed out on the playoffs don't tell you much.

I've mentioned his name multiple times, and had a pretty good feeling Seattle wanted him. End of day I think we basically got 3 1st round picks. Zabel was one. Emmanwori was (but had character concerns that dropped him) and Arroyo could've snuck into the end of round 1 if there wasn't such a massive run on OL.

I was pretty happy with round 2 but when I knew Wilson was on the board with Milroe taken I was a little miffed.

Whatever. Sounds like Seattle wanted a Taysom Hill kind of thing.. lol... and we spent a 3rd rounder on it.. :L

I was surprised they didn't go for Wilson as well. But I suspect they don't want to draft a center only player in the 3rd.
