Se have asked for notes that can be given to assisted livingo, Monster in law is not improving enough physically to get her in assisted living.
Yesterday she sounded like she was giving up on getting in.
Today she cancelled physical therapy. She has cancelled 50% of phys. therapy appointments.
We have requested notes on her progress to give to assisted living.
Can't imagine what they might say.

She also seems to have given up on cooperating with us here at home.
She won't turn off lights, won't wash her hands, throws her trash on the floor.
I'm too old to be raising a 5 year old.

She fell again early this morning. Went for a "walk" in the dark.
I told her and my wife, it's time for a nursing home.
We start shopping today!

Nursing Homes = God's Waiting Room. But they offer a better standard of living than we can normally offer.

And it will allow you to once again go Hardcore Anal on your old lady without Mom overhearing.

The ambulance has been at my in-laws at least once a week for the last six months. They take the mother-in-law up to the hospital for her various things and she refuses to stay. So she gets a taxi ride home. We have stayed out of that process because It’s the way she gets attention.

That’s actually less worrisome than my father-in-law going on walkabouts in his stocking feet. One time it was three in the morning. The police found him wandering a mile away from their house in his PJs.

Today we had a 1:00 appointment at an assisted living home.
Noon she was sitting in a bathrobe eating cereal and drinking coffee.
I told her she needed to get dressed, weleave in a few minutes.
She started crying and said nobody told her.
She complained she didn't have any clothes. Then shoes. Then jacket.
She asked to cancel. NO! Reschedule, NO! Get moving. you're wasting time.
After treating her like a teenager that did not want to go to school, we arrived to the facility
2 minutes early. My children were lesschild-like than her!

The GF's Dad lived by himself, but was clearly slipping. He did NOT want to move to assisted living.

Once he finally got there, he loved it. Of course, it was a very nice place.

This was a very nice place we visited today and most importantly, it appears they'll take her.
She loved the place and then came home and shit her depends and started crying about "nobodies going to give me the help I need" She has worn her welcome out with me and wife.
It there or straight to a nursing home. I want my life back and so does my wife.
