Yea Griffin has new life in Cleveland and want's to stick it us so bad I imagine he will revert back to the running QB he was in year one. Once the regular season is here you will see the RG3 we all saw last 3 years. A QB with slow reflects and a QB with hardly any awareness. Not to mention his durability. He will run more often but will be hesitate on sliding because he still can't, despite reports, Im certain. My prediction is that he'll either be hurt before the 4th game or benched... leaning on hurt because their backups aren't any option. He'll start throwing teammates under the bus at presseys and his welcome will run out quick. Unfortunately for him he will be out of the league this time next year as the Browns will use their top 5 pick on a QB.

Is this statement true?

All signs point to yes.

And magic 8 ball neva lie... do it pops.

Yeah but good stats was not attainable for him in last year's preseason so there is mprovement. But I agree with you, once he plays a real defense his true colors will show up and his lack of pocket awareness will come into play again. Still it will be an interesting thing to keep an eye on.
I think he'll do acceptably well this season because apparently he has agreed to play the pistol - probably the only offense he'd have a chance to succeed with. He'll never have the same kind of success he had as a rookie, because he's no longer that phenominal athlete, but he's still good enough to put up some numbers. And of course, Cleveland's lack of offensive talent is going to limit him.

He should never talk to the media after a game, because he sounds so insincere when giving teammates credit. He's like the Lebron James of football when he has a microphone - if Lebron James all of a sudden lost half of his talent after his rookie year and then refused to play transition offense.

So as a fellow Browns sympathizer are you rooting for him to do well? I'm torn. I likened him playing really well to the feeling of standing at a slot machine for 3 hours without a payout, then walking away and watching the next guy who takes your seat hitting the jackpot. Why in the world would I want Griffin to play great for someone else? Still it's the Browns and I like the Browns.

I guess I don't really care - about Griffin or the Browns. I was an old Browns fan - before they moved to Baltimore - Greg Pruitt's teams, Bernie Kosar's teams, even Mike Oliphant's teams. But the current Browns franchise - I don't have any feelings for one way or t'other.

I am a two time divorcee (clearly I am not good at that institution) who is happily living with his GF of almost 10 years and about to start boxing training with the much younger woman two doors down who also wants me to go to fights with her. I ain't changing nothing. :D

Back to the marriage thing as a few of you know I have a real scare with Mrs. Green a month ago. Made me wonder how I would cope if I lost her. In all honesty I have no idea. The thought of being alone was terrifying, we do a lot together and when she is out of town by the 2nd night I'm bored.
Hope she is continuing with her recovery. Scary stuff DGF. Nothing better than having a best friend in your marriage, respect my friend.

Thanks Cali. She's doing so much better she went to a party for just the wives, and drove herself home, on Saturday. This weekend we go to the beach. Live is slowly returning to normal.

Wow, guess he has a 'mental coach' helping him out now as well. Not a good sign for a 2nd rounder

Yeah generally not a fan of the team making negotiations so public but they do have a point. Someone should tell this guy rookie contracts are slotted and there is really no room for negotiations. Screw him, I hope he sits out the season and gets nothing.
