I think they have a legit grievance. Mandating sleep policy is a different ball of wax then highly encouraging it.

A team should play the best player. Period.

If sleep is what is limiting a player than that's on them (and they can choose to change it if they want). I'd guess there would be more in play than a good nights rest myself.

So I am going to brag for a second about one of my nephews football team:

Bowie State University is ranked second in the first NCAA Division II Regional Rankings, released by the NCAA on Monday, October 26.

The top seven teams on Selection Sunday (November 15) will advance to the NCAA Division II Playoffs with first-round games beginning on Saturday, November 21. A total of 28 teams, seven from each of the four Super Regions, will make the playoffs. The top seed of each Super Region will receive a first-round bye.

Go Bulldogs!!!!!
