I wonder if Cleveland is going to change it's name to the Cleveland Baseball Team?:noidea:
Lol. Maybe. Now we might be trendsetters apparently. Reality is, as we know, takes time to trademark and brand a new team name.

Maybe they will change their name to the Cleveland Redskins. Why is it that teams have to change their name during the same time that they suck? Good teams like the Kansas City Chiefs and the Atlanta Braves have not been under any kind of pressure to change their names.

Apparently they have chosen to keep and use the name Indians until they roll out their new name. We could have gone that route but chose not to from what Galdi said today.

RIP Tommy Lasorda

What a colorful guy and great baseball man he was! He blead Dodger Blue and I was fortunate enough to get to meet him in spring training when the Dodgers trained at Vero Beach, Florida. After baseball was over for him he became one of the most sought after motivational speakers in our nation and he never stopped bleeding Dodger Blue. RIP

WOW, talking about baseball losing another one of the great ones, they just lost one of the greatest of the greats. The man from Mobile, Alabama was a class act, a great human being, and a super star on the field. At only about 175 pounds he hit with more power than anyone I've ever seen for his size. He didn't do it with big shoulders, muscle, and bulk. He did it by mastering the technique of snapping his wrists when he made contact with the ball which generated torque and power. Very few players of his size have ever been able to do this. He was one of my favorite players ever.

saw he record breaking homer live . one of my great memories

I was fortunate enough to see that homer live too and as he trotted from second to third I thought that fan who came out of the stands to try to grab him might have had his own agenda but Hank just pushed him away and kept on trotting until he reached home plate where he got mobbed by his teammates.
