I'm pretty sure that he was speaking in present tense. There's a lot of work to be done between now and camp, and changes in personnel will certainly be a part of that work.

He may be comfortable enough with Rivera that he would sign here. Bradberry replaced Norman in Carolina right? Who's to say Carolina doesn't covet him more? I do not want to break the bank for Bradberry.

Agree on all 3. Especially Simmons and Bradberry...we need them to stabilize the secondary. With Young at the #2 pick, we would be set on the defense with starters. Tre Boston could take over at FS.

We need a Guard and TE in free agency and then we use the rest of the draft to build the offense.

my only beef with boston is he supposedly doesnt tackle well

What are your thoughts on Shaq Lawson? By all reports, he is an above avg cover guy on 3rd downs and provides insurances in the run game. Could he play one of the OLB spots?

Yes, as a starter with Foster and Holcomb. Leaving SDH, Bostic, JHC and others as depth or situational players.
