Agreed Southern Cross for me too. I like Niel Young a lot great song write. Never really got into Loggins and MessinaSouthern Cross
Southern Cross is not a Neil Young song. It's not even a CSN & Y song.Day 21:

Yeah not sure what I was thinking. Let me check the time stamp on my post that may explain itSouthern Cross is not a Neil Young song. It's not even a CSN & Y song.
It's actually not even a CSN song as Crosby isn't even on the original album version, only Stephen Stills and Graham Nash.
But it still gets my vote.
I'm hot and cold with Deep Purple. Hot - Hush, cold - Child in TimeDay 22: BAND BATTLE

I take it back. I've been listening to Deep Purple on and off since this morning. Though I'm still not a fan of Child in Time, I'm definitely mostly hot on Deep Purple, to the point of seeing them as probably the most underrated rock band. Is there a more iconic rock song than "Smoke on the Water"?I'm hot and cold with Deep Purple. Hot - Hush, cold - Child in Time

I'm listening to that now to see if my earlier comments are as much about that album than the entirety of the band...Not a huge Deep Purple fan EXCEPT for the Perfect Strangers album. That was holy shit level amazingness.
