Then who are you picking as the SB winning QB that had the least around him of any SB winning team?Giants defense was legit back then…

I know this wasnt directed at me, but I dont think anyone expected the Giants to beat the bills. Led by an over the hill RB. Defense was good, but wasnt lights out or anything. I mean two teams make a superbowl because they dont suck, but that team didnt seem special to me, but beat a dominate Bills team from that year. Then who are you picking as the SB winning QB that had the least around him of any SB winning team?
I hate Brad Johnson
That’s a tough one … gonna need to think about that one for a whileThen who are you picking as the SB winning QB that had the least around him of any SB winning team?
There are morons out there whose logic dictates that Brad Johnson is better than Dan Marino
I remember Marino’s rookie season really well because he made the pro bowl as a rookie and Seattle played Miami in the divisional round in 1983 his rookie season… We were HUGE underdogs but pulled off the upset … The next year 1984 the Dolphins made it to the Bowl, but came up short against a juggernaut 49rs team, just bad timing man …. In 1985 they made it back to the AFC title game but lost to the Pats, BUT again, 85 Bears weren’t gonna lose even if they got by the Pats … Imagine the bad luck of facing the 84 Niners and then possibly the 85 Bears ! Bad bad timing in that potential title window…There's nobody that seriously believes that. You can't measure QBs based solely on championships. Football is the ultimate team game. And there are numerous reasons why Marino never got back and even if he had a couple times, he probably gets the Elway treatment by the NFC Juggernauts of the 80s.
Yeah, seems like there have been a few teams with middling offenses but great defenses. Payton's Broncos come to mind, Trent Dilfer's Ravens, Eli's Giants
marino is the best ever qb to NOT win a sb by far.love the led zep name.I remember Marino’s rookie season really well because he made the pro bowl as a rookie and Seattle played Miami in the divisional round in 1983 his rookie season… We were HUGE underdogs but pulled off the upset … The next year 1984 the Dolphins made it to the Bowl, but came up short against a juggernaut 49rs team, just bad timing man …. The Eagles had the 3rd best offense and 4th best defense in the league that year. They had the highest SRS ranking meaning Profootballreference thought they were the best team throughout the season.Nick foles. Hes strapped his dick to his leg and took them to the promised land.
willams threw 2 or 3 td passes in quarter two sport.try and lookup td passes.Let's throw out a name no one has mentioned.
1987 Strike Year Redskins.
Doug Williams and Washington scored 35 points in one quarter based off the play of one running back who had never done anything prior and never did anything after.
nick foles is the goat. And obv tongue in cheek on my part. The Eagles had the 3rd best offense and 4th best defense in the league that year. They had the highest SRS ranking meaning Profootballreference thought they were the best team throughout the season.
Its also probably the least talented Eagles Super Bowl team in their past 3 Super Bowls
for 1 game.nick foles is the goat. And obv tongue in cheek on my part.
