I know Niners GM or owner or whoever is sort of a wild card. Any chance Chip gets fired after this season if the Niners tank? Any chance Chip leaves finding this not to be the right fit for him?

4 games played and the fans want him fired already.

Kelly isn't going anywhere unless he does something extremely stupid, unforseen or criminal. Baalke is at the other end of that spectrum, as I just can't see how he sticks around next year. The franchise has lost a lot of talent and replaced it with very little. The major holes on the team from last year have pretty much gone ignored, and now SF is looking at maybe a 3 win season. Unless they completely turn it around (which isn't happening) or a slew of his recent draft choices start paying dividends, Baalke should be very worried.

I suspect that Tom Gamble will get the GM job.

believe Tom Gamble will take over as GM, and believe he is already ok with Kelly....and vice versa

This is spot on. Not sure what to make of Gamble. If you know Pozz, Pozz really likes Gamble. Thinks he would make a great GM

Im not lying. I dont care who the next QB is. I just want to see a change. Not my fault you dont understand it. Next year we Draft a QB, let Kap walk or cut him, Then pick between Gabbert and Ponder for the back up spot.

I don't even care to have Gabbert as a backup. We might as well keep some mid round pick on the roster as a backu. Can't be much worse than Gabbert has been lately.

I haven't heard a thing and I read a lot of 49er material. Usually when the FO wants to get rid of someone the leaks start. It has been really quiet so far. Baalke will be gone before Kelly and I would be very surprised to see the 49ers paying the salary of three coaches next year

Well, that is a possibility. One never knows. He might be happier with Baalke gone and Gamble promoted to GM. They have a good working relationship. I am MEH about the whole thing
