Like no, really really?

It was UW that got hosed and that year was the seed that eventually brought about the BCS. The outrage over an upstart mid major that didn't win a single game against a ranked team is exactly the reason why it's been impossible for that to happen again.

But Florida? I mean UW was second in both polls ffs. There was no legitimate claim for Florida that year.

He said tha because he played football in Jr high and his coach told him so, he knew more than the rest of us about football. I would wager that a great number of us guys played football somewhere along the way and all of us have surely watched more than our fair share of it to know the rules.

Oh heck, even I played sandlot football w/the guys. I was the punter. And we had a girls team in jr. high.

No actually the dude argues with gator fans that think UF got screwed. He thinks BYU deserved the title. At least as far as I can tell. He is tough to make sense of TBH.

Actually, he vacillates on whether BYU deserved it. He says they almost meet the Relative Proficiency threshold. But so does UF.

Of course, he also said BYU was de facto Big 10 champs in 84 because they beat Missouri in 83. So go figure...
