Half of their 30 outs made so far have been by striking out.

Conforto recovered it and threw to Baez at 2B to nail the batter for the 3rd out, after the runner on 3rd scored.

Mets lose 3-2 and give away yet another game they should've won...and drop below .500 again.

I guess Rojas' "discipline at the plate" request a few days ago is really sinking in, eh??



He continues to shrug nonetheless.

I'm sure the upcoming subway series this weekend at Citi will turn out much better.....LOL

Mets (70-71) are now 5 games back in the NL east..and 5 back for the 2nd WC race, with only 21 games to go.
