Yuck. That felt like a Mets game from the past few years. Was hoping we wouldn't see many of those moving forward. Hoping Mejia can get back on track.

PHILADELPHIA -- If the Mets are going to evaluate their young players for 2015 planning purposes, then they will have to live with miscues like the one Wilmer Flores committed on Sunday.
Flores threw wide to first base on Ben Revere's two-out grounder in the seventh. Although it was generously ruled an infield single, the play was makeable. Philadelphia ended up producing two runs that inning to pull within a run and eventually beat the Mets, 7-6, at Citizens Bank Park.
“The whole plan is we’ve got to see if he can play a major league shortstop,” Terry Collins said. “He’s got to be out there. We’ve got to find out if he’s going to be able to do it, if he’s going to be able to hit. With that comes maybe a play like that.”
Flores, making a fourth straight start at shortstop over Ruben Tejada, had difficulty getting the ball out of his glove.
“It was a fast runner and I had to rush it,” said Flores, who went 1-for-4 at the plate.
