Another solid effort from Megill, have to be happy with what he's provided so far.

Good to see Lindor get the winning RBI - he's been making a lot more hard contact recently.
Absolutely.
And the bullpen was great in this one....they got 4 scoreless innings from 4 different guys, each pitching 1.
(Smith, May, Lugo & Diaz ) Much needed.
Wednesday it'll be Peterson starting....then on Thursday it's deGrom-inator.

LGM!

Peterson is just hell bent on giving away more free bases....and runs as a result thereof.

5-2 now.

And he's finally pulled in the 4th.

Sean Reid-Foley takes over.

edit:
He's not doing much better either.

Yikes.

Ughh
7-2 now.

The Carlos Carrasco situation is starting to backfire.....and the domino effect is now happening.

Btw:
the Nats have already won again today.....and the Phils are leading.

edit...now 8-2 Braves.

NBA playoff game 6, here I come.
LOL

Hopefully the front office is paying serious attention.

The Mets were on the ass end of a real bad butt kicking tonight...and a bunch of it was self induced.

This team, for all the good they've done so far, still has lots of holes & weak spots that need to be addressed and remedied real soon.

Final:
Braves 20 - Mets 2.

Up Next....

New York's Jacob deGrom (7-2, 0.69) will face Atlanta's Ian Anderson (5-4, 3.42) in a matchup of right-handers in Thursday night's final game of the series.

Has there ever been a worse/more frustrating first place team this deep into a season?

Ughh.....here we go again.

Jake gave up 3 runs in the 1st...
When was the last time that happened?? I'm gonna say probably never since he's been in the majors.

Triple....1 out single.....2 run HR.

Mets trail 3-1 in the 2nd.

Okay now I feel like I have to ask.....is Atlanta pulling a Houston with a sign stealing scheme??
Or is Jake less than 100% health wise...and/or possibly tipping his pitches??

edit:
Thank goodness he kept them from scoring again in the 2nd.
After giving up a leadoff double and then a single, he struck out the side...but he's really having to work harder.
