Mets close out an otherwise nice 1st half of baseball with a rare meltdown by Diaz...and a dormant offense today after the 1st inning......along with some questionable decision making by Luis Rojas.

Final:
Pittsburgh 6 - Mets 5.

But at least the Braves lost....and hopefully the Phils & Nats will too.

Yeah..that was a real bummer and a crappy way to end the 1st half....but we're still in 1st place in the NL east and getting some of the other guys back from the IL soon.

I feel like our offense is explosive or non existent with no in between. It would be nice to get production throughout a game.
