It's gone from an early 6-0 self inflicted deficit, to a 6-5 game now.

Nice job by Loup wiggling out of that inning to avert possible disaster.

Each Mets hitter in the 7th was trying to hit a 3 run homer.
Trouble was..no one was on base.
They went down quickly 1-2-3.
And all it took was 6 pitches.

Mets pulled it out, in the face of much adversity...to salvage a 7-6 win...and avoid being swept.

Now that's some good news we sorely needed.

Dom Smith singled...and Michael Conforto followed w/ a 2 run blast.
Trevor May got the save, and boy howdy was it ever needed.
Familia with yet another vulture win. ( lol...he's now 5-1 )
But it was well deserved. Props all around for holding steady.
That was a big time gut check. Mets survived. Huge!

Manager Luis Rojas was ejected in the 1st.
Helluva comeback to salvage the series finale.
Shoutout to the Mets BP for their 8.2 shutout innings.
Drew Smith, M.Castro, A.Loup, J.Familia, & T.May deserve lots of credit.
Michael Conforto's 2 run homer in the 9th was just what the doctor ordered.
Hopefully it proves to be a momentum builder for the entire team going forward.

Mets put up 3 in the 1st...but the Reds do 1 better putting up 4 in the bottom half ( only 2 were earned..because of Guillorme's error) ughh.... I fear we're gonna miss Lindor's defense for more than his 10 day IL stint.

If Eickoff can go 4 innings w/o allowing any more runs I'd consider it a quality outing.

and yes another error by Guillorme.

Now a Votto rbi single makes it 6-3.

Unfortunately the Mets have also committed 4 errors in this one..which has accounted for 5 of Cincy's 7 runs.

7-6 Reds...mid 4th.
We could seriously use a shutdown inning here from Eickoff.

He went 3.2 innings...allowed 7 runs (only 2 earned)...gave up 6 hits, walked 1..and K'd 3....on 76 pitches.
