After a 1 out walk to Harper, Thor has his 2nd E-1 on another pickoff throw...Harper takes 2nd.
Thor walks Hoskins.

But he gets the next 2 hitters to fly out.
He's now at 88 pitches thru 5.

2 Mets have been HBP so far.
Alonso and Frazier(who just got tossed)
Hechavarria replaces him at 1st.
Smith doubles....Mets have 2nd & 3rd w/ 1 out.

Rosario just got HBP to load the bases.
That's the 3rd Mets hitter Arrieta has plunked tonight.

Arrieta is a POS.

Now Callaway gets tossed.

Davis PH for Thor but grounded out..& McNeil who usually puts the ball in play whiffed to end the inning.

Now Matz takes over in the 7th...with 1 on & 1 out.

Harper singles on Matz' 1st pitch.....2 on 1 out.

Hoskins up.
Matz gets him to line out....
...2 down for Realmuto.

Matz allows a 2 out rbi single...then gets Jay Bruce to ground out.

Mets Lead 6-5 at the stretch.

Mets RHP Zack Wheeler (6-5, 4.42 ERA) who could become an attractive trade target for contenders before the July 31 deadline will start the rubber game for NY on Sunday.
New York has won his last five starts at home, and the right-hander is 5-2 with a 2.95 ERA in 13 career outings against Philadelphia.
He'll face Phillies' RHP Aaron Nola (7-2, 3.89 ERA) in the series finale before the all-star break. Nola has allowed one earned run with 28 strikeouts in 23 innings over his last three starts. He is 6-1 with a 3.48 ERA in 11 career games against the Mets, including seven shutout innings of one-hit ball with 10 Ks on June 27.
