RHP Sean Reid-Foley (right shoulder impingement) threw 21 pitches during a batting practice session and could make a minor rehab appearance Sunday.

Mets RHP Kodai Senga makes his season debut Friday night in the 2nd game of the 4 game series.
Senga was diagnosed with a right shoulder capsule strain after arriving at spring training and had a 4.15 ERA in four minor league rehab starts.

Mets RHP Dedniel Núñez (right pronator strain) was placed on the 15-day injured list.
Manager Carlos Mendoza said Núñez, a rookie who is 2-0 with a 2.43 ERA and one save, underwent an MRI that revealed no ligament damage.


On Deck:

Tylor Megill (2-4, 5.08 ERA) is back in the Mets rotation for now with the injury to Christian Scott, and hopes to get back on track after a stint with AAA Syracuse.
The Braves will go with right-hander Spencer Schwellenbach (3-5, 4.62 ERA). Game time is 4:10 p.m. It will air on SNY.

Mets C Francisco Alvarez sat out with a sore left shoulder but was available off the bench.
CF Harrison Bader (right ankle) returned to the lineup after missing five games. He was hit on the ankle by an 83 mph slider in the sixth and shaken up, but remained in the game.
RHP Sean Reid-Foley (shoulder impingement) is scheduled to make his next rehab appearance Wednesday, perhaps at Double-A Binghamton. Rookie reliever Dedniel Núñez (right pronator strain) hasn't resumed throwing yet. “We're still waiting for him to be symptom-free,” manager Carlos Mendoza said. “He's getting better.”


On Deck:

The Mets series with the Twins continues Tuesday night with Sean Manaea (6-4, 3.73 ERA) on the mound against David Festa (1-1, 8.17) Manaea has succeeded in his career against the Twins, owning a 5-1 record with a 2.48 ERA in six games.
Festa, a NJ native is a 24-year-old rookie who has made just three major league appearances.
First pitch will take place at 7:10 p.m. ET and the game will be broadcast on SNY.
