Does this mean the Lions are breaking out the champagne to celebrate the only 0-16 team in league history?

I picture the two old guys in the balcony from the Muppets making some comment about that.

Rough couple days for Rod Marinelli. First, his Cowboys give up a league record 40 first downs. Then this....

I find it funny that the 0-16 Lions IMO would beat the Jags and Bucs of 2013 if they played. They lost a ton of close games that year. I was at the Colts/Lions game that year and it was close with the Lions almost beating Mannings Colts.

I remember in 07 when the Dolphins were an OT loss away from going 0-16 that year and they beat the Ravens in OT - that was crazy

I dont think it would be champagne that they would be uncorking. Maybe a tall boy of schlitz?

I don't think so. The '08 Lions were considerably worse than this year's worst. The Jags even pushed the Broncos. The Jags and Bucs are probably going to each pick up another win sometime this season.

The Jags were the worst 0-8 team of all time so the Lions would probably have beaten them. The Bucs were the best 0-8 team of all time and would've steamrolled that Lions team

I don't know. Just looking at the final scores from that year, most of their games were blowouts. They only had 5 games that finished with a one score difference. The Bucs have already had 5 games they lost by a score or less, and of course they got a win.

The Jaguars are a different story though. Every game they've lost has been by double digits. I still don't know how they won Sunday. Even with Fitzpatrick playing, the Titans still should have beaten them.

lol I forgot about that beauty of a play. I guess I am putting too much on the game I was at against the Colts where they looked pretty good.
