I think it's gonna end up being Malzhan.

Seems like a good fit to me.

How do you know his extension didn't contain a loophole for him to get out of it if he got a better offer?

He's always been free to leave whenever he wants.

Why did it take Saban so long to sign it?

Because he was traveling all week recruiting. He was in Kentucky, Ohio, Texas and even Washington last week.

Texas has the money to buy anybody out of anything. Saban is a logical candidate and is the front runner in my opinion.

Your opinion isn't worth anything then.

Hypothetically, if he would take the job and you knew he would win a huge amount of games for a four year stint, would the UT fans accept Barry Switzer at their coach?

I've thought about the topic some more, and I think it's going to be Phil Fulmer.

1. Has won a National Championship.
2. Is ok with wearing Orange.
3. Is available and wants to coach.
4. Already coached at a team that is the state name and starts with a T.

It would be an easy transition for him.

If they are looking for ex-Oklahoma Quarterbacks that are currently coaching then there's Justin Fuente at Memphis and Garrick McGee at UAB. Could follow that Royal template that worked so well.

#2 is valid point. It's going to have to be someone who is okay with wearing that God awful orange.
