Who is the front runner for the coaching job at Texas?
What say you
What say you
Nick Saban
Saban isn't going nowhere after signing an Extention

How do you know his extension didn't contain a loophole for him to get out of it if he got a better offer?
Why did it take Saban so long to sign it?
Texas has the money to buy anybody out of anything. Saban is a logical candidate and is the front runner in my opinion.
His contract has no buyout. He can leave Alabama any time he wants without financial consequence, or so it has been reported.
So that means Saban is still the front runner for the Texas job - in my opinion. If they offer him a 10 year contract at $100 million, HE WILL BE QUITE GONE. He has stated many times in public that he wouldn't leave, etc, and what did he do? He left the very moment the money was dangled in his face.

No idea, but I have a bad feeling we are all going to be going, WHO???????? Just like when they hired Mack Brown back in 98.
Reading between the lines at the presser today, I think Patterson already has the guy in mind.
