Theres a major difference between playing conference games and FCS teams in November. OSU should have been in. Play off selection system needs to progress

Not to sound like a dooshy hater but am I wrong to think ND isn’t a top 4 team? They’re deserving, they went undefeated but I just don’t see dominance. Maybe they just had a lack luster game. Shit, look at OU. Their D could be torched by a junior college but I still think their domination on O puts them in the mix.

Played half a game with a rb at qb and another half with a true frosh. Still smoked who they needed to to get to play another SEC team for the title. Better this season, will only be better next season.

They are debating a 1 loss conference Champ gets in over ND as though it could happen.
If it did, then ND does not need to recruit since no 4 or 5 stars would commit to a team that has no chance to play for a championship.
Most likely playoff, Alabama, Clemson, ND and either OU or Ohio St. Second most likely, Clemson, Georgia, ND, Alabama.
Remember the committee loves the SEC and would probably even make Alabama the 2nd seed because they would still consider them the best team.
Most likely upset, Georgia, second Northwestern as Ohio State assumes victory and 3rd Texas if they can score 65 points.
If Northwestern and Texas were to pull off upsets, we would see 4 undefeateds as UCF would get in over 2 loss non conference champions. That is what would like to see.

We played like shit tonight, but last week we beat a top 20 team by 30+. We have 4 top 25 wins.

Agree 100%. When the best thing you get out of an SC loss is the hope that the coach will get fired, you know its bad.

i don't think there is an ideal. no matter where you cut it off someone will have a problem with not making it.
