Is it just me or do neither of these teams have a defense?

For the most part Michigan's defense played well. Could have been better, but definetly not a concern, especially when Jake Ryan comes back.

Michigans defense yielded 23 pts.

Not a bad day.

I mean its not like shutting out the mighty Tennessee State Golden Eagles or anything. But it sure looks like those Michigan kids are giving their all.

It just seemed like both teams were having their way with each others' defenses.

At times it did seem that way at times, but Michigan did force 2 three-and-outs, forced 3 field goals instead of touchdowns (and two of them came off of relatively short fields), two interceptions, two turnover on downs, and held Notre Dame to 96 yards rushing. Notre Dame is no slouch on offensive so I would say overall it was at least a solid B preformance by the Michigan defense.

Fans forget just how awful the defense was before Hoke arrived.

In three years he has changed scheme from that dumb ass 3-3-5 and type of player.

Notre Dame's o-line was really good and IMO Kelly should not have given up on the running game.
