OK, by your own logic....Clowney signs, tears it up the first four years, and then ''nurses'' a hammy in the last year of his rookie deal to ''protect his investment''...

Totally different beast. If he loafs at the end of his contract in the NFL, teams will back off of him. You play harder to get a bigger contract in the NFL.

He hasn't made a dime and hasn't hurt his draft position this season.

Per Walter Football, here are the percentages of the #2 pick from reader mocks:

Jadeveon Clowney (trade w/Falcons): 32.2%
Greg Robinson: 26.5%
Sammy Watkins: 19.5%
Jadeveon Clowney (no trade): 12.7%
Jake Matthews: 6.8%
Khalil Mack: 2.3%
Total votes: 3,375

Obviously the trade down to Atlanta and Clowney pick are eliminated. Looks like Greg Robinson followed by Sammy Watkins.

Thanks now I don't feel bad after posting Rams take Robinson then see 2 other posters wanted Rams to take Watkins. Oh well its a mock and both players are good.

Now lets Jax pick someone maybe Johnny Football :yahoo:

My long time a-hole Eagles fan friend actually agrees with me on my team needs. (PS ALL Eagles fan are some type of a a-hole)

Hey man Im participating in a 7rd mock nfl draft and since there was no one picking for the eagles I elected to help make their picks. So my question is what are the top 5 needs for the eagles? Thanks. I believe its 1) OLB 2) S 3) WR 4) DE 5) DT. Am I close?

He says:
That's pretty much spot on. I would maybe tweak the order if anything, but I actually think you got it exactly right. Maybe swapping DT and DE. Nice work

3/25: "The Atlanta Falcons are open to trading up in this year's NFL draft." - Adam Schefter

2/24: "It's entirely possible the Rams would get the most in return from a team moving up to land South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney. Atlanta remains the most logical potential trade partner." - Nick Wagoner, ESPN

Who should the Jags take Bortles, Bridgewater, Manziel, or other?

I say Bortles from Florida stays in FL and Jags take him with #3 pick

Bortles > Bridgewater >>>>>>> Manziel

I would go Carr before I took Manziel.

I think Bridgewater for the Jags since he is the most NFL ready QB and he can step in and win games for them now. Bortles has a higher ceiling and lower floor so if you want to go with potential then go with Bortles.

Bortles > Bridgewater >>>>>>> Manziel

Manziel so they can sell more tickets but if they want to win a few more games take Bortles

For the record I wouldn't take Johnny Football in the 1st round but it is the Jags who need to sell tickets.
