I don't know if ATL will give up 2 1sts to move up for a non-QB. That's why I still think it can get done how I said. It doesn't align perfectly for the TVC but otherwise I wouldn't do it if I were ATL.

Houston needs a QB but if they were stuck at #1, I was going to take Clowney for them. The three top QBs in this draft don't stand out in anyway and HOU may still get the one I want for them at 6.

Like I said...I think it's a good trade for both teams but I wouldn't give up my one next year if I were ATL. They are too hard to replace.

I agree with that but I think the first three picks are in a tough spot for not involving next year's picks and we can debate all year about whether it would take another 1 or 2 to next year for ATL to get #1.

Another strategy I was going to use was let STL jump me and take a QB because I would still be able to get Clowney at #2 for HOU if that happened.

We are only using 2014 picks, it just made gkekoa feel better announcing the 2015 pick.

I think St. Louis trades down with Atlanta right after Houston selects a QB. I don't think anyone believes Houston will take Clowney and will call Houston's bluff that they would. It's much cheaper to trade up to #2 for Atlanta than #1. Just my take on it...

He did take it easy this season but that was to protect an investment...he would have been #1 overall in 2013 if it weren't for the rules.

Yep no worries got that I'd just hate to see us allow futures even though it routinely happens. The GM this year needs to pay the price haha!

the Falcons also need to rebuild their Oline and Secondary and in a deep draft they gave up a 2 and 4? I just don't see that happening when they are more then 1 player away.
